With more all-natural products coming out all the time, often with hefty price tags, it’s a clever skill to be able to craft your own cleaners and detergents that are equally as friendly for you as they are for the environment. Homemade laundry soap is one of the easiest how-to’s out there and it can save you hundreds of dollars each year.

Forever coming up with new ways to make things just a little bit cleaner, greener and easier around our house. Today, that meant making a container of pre-soaked disinfecting wipes to store in the bathroom. Not that cleaning is all that difficult and having only one bathroom makes it even easier, but it’s nice to know that I can wipe up messes as I go about my day without needing to go grab a rag and some spray.

Finally! Here it is, the step-by-step process (with pictures) of how I make my homemade baby wipes. Recently we have changed baby soaps to the Honest Company brand which has made no change in the wipes except that they now smell like vanilla and orange which is lovely. Also, the Honest Company doesn’t put anything in their soap that I can’t pronounce (no chemicals) which is a big plus for me.
